Nuevo Curso de Captación y Gestión de Proyectos Internacionales

La nueva convocatoria del programa Eramus+ KA2 (Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education) está prevista para este mes de octubre 2018, con fecha límite de febrero 2019.

Si quieres saber las claves para redactar una propuesta con éxito para el programa Erasmus+ tienes la oportunidad de matricularte en el Curso de Formación en Captación y Gestión de Proyectos Internacionales, organizado por la Oficina de Gestión de Proyectos de la Universidad de Alicante.

La III edición de este curso tendrá lugar la semana del 12 al 16 de noviembre del 2018, y tiene como objetivo darte todas las claves para desarrollar una propuesta de proyecto exitosa dentro del programa Erasmus+, específicamente en este nuevo call KA2 (Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education).

Este curso, impartido en castellano y orientado a profesionales, académicos y gestores de proyectos, tiene como objetivo principal dotar a los participantes de las habilidades, conocimientos necesarios para diseñar proyectos europeos competitivos y facilitar herramientas y recursos para gestionar proyectos de manera exitosa.

El curso consta de 3 módulos (Redacción de Proyectos, Gestión de Proyectos Erasmus+ KA2, Intercambio de Experiencias y Networking) y será impartido por miembros de la Oficina de Gestión de Proyectos de la Universidad de Alicante, institución líder en el Programa Tempus de la Unión Europea (programa previo al KA2), con más de 15 años de experiencia en coordinación y participación en proyectos de fortalecimiento de capacidades en el ámbito de la Educación Superior. Actualmente la Universidad de Alicante coordina 7 proyectos ERASMUS+ y participa en 11 como socio.

El plazo de matricula permanecerá abierto hasta el 31 de Octubre de 2018, y la inscripción ha de realizarse a través del siguiente formulario online. La matrícula se formalizará una vez se reciba el justificante de pago en project.management@ua.es,  correspondiente al abono del curso o módulo(s) mediante transferencia bancaria.

First Like Home workshop on “Learn to evaluate your competences” 

Finding solutions to some of the biggest challenges on how migrants and refugees can access the labour market is the main area of work of the Like Home project. This project has developed several online tools to help migrants and refuges to assess their level of competences in key areas such as literary skills, IT skills and cultural awareness.

The Babelia NGO, Pangea project (local council offices of information to migrant’ people) and the Alicante City Council organized the first workshop on “Learn to evaluate your competences” for migrants and refugees of the city of Alicante. The workshop was successfully implemented in 3 languages Spanish, Russian and Arabic on Friday 5th October at Pangea.  
 

1st TOURIST Training Workshop in Hue City

This week, from 2nd to 5th October the 1st Training Workshop “Introduction to Sustainable Tourism” of the TOURIST Project is taking place hosted by Hue University in Hue City, Vietnam. The training workshop is being delivered by the European Partners (FH JOANNEUM Gesellschaft mbH, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and the University of Alicante) and is being attended by representative from three Vietnamese Universities, four Thai Universities and The Thailand Community Based Tourism Institute.

The objective of the workshop is to create a common understanding of tourism development and growth, the impacts of tourism, sustainable tourism, identify the stakeholders in sustainable tourism and define the role of individuals and organisations in making tourism more sustainable.

The University of Alicante was represented by Dr. Oana M. Driha, Assisst. Professor, Department of Applied Economics International Economy, Institute of Tourism Research, who delivered the training on stakeholders in sustainable tourism.

ENHANCE Final Conference in Vietnam

Hosted by Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCM-USSH), the ENHANCE Final Conference "Challenges and Strengths of Research and Innovation Management and Implementation in Vietnam" took place on the 19th and 20th of September 2018, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, organised by International Project Management Office of the University of Alicante. 

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Manuel Palomar, Rector University of Alicante who thanked Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, president of HCM-USSH and her team for hosting this final event and for acting as national coordinator of the ENHANCE project. 

Participants included rectors, vice-rectors, deans and representatives from the ENHANCE consortium and representatives from other Vietnamese Universities, Research Institutes, Higher Education & Science and Technology authorities and private companies. Their attendance to this event highlighted the importance of research and innovation in Vietnam and encouraged cooperation between university and industry.

The main aim of this Final Conference was to bring together managers, academics and researchers from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Research Institutes, Research and Innovation (R&I) authorities, relevant stakeholders and representative from the private sector in order to encourage a discussion on challenges and strengths of R&I management and implementation in Vietnam.
 
A discussion on possible improvements and strategy for R&I management at national and institutional levels was fostered during the Round Table conducted on the second day, following the morning presentations.
