Rebeca obtained an LLB Law degree from the University of Salamanca, spending one year of her course reading Law at the University of Bristol. She specialises in Intellectual Property Law (LLM -Magister Lvcentinvs) and Chinese business culture. She speaks Spanish, English and Chinese.
She is particularly focused on International negotiations regarding Intellectual Property issues, providing legal advice and support to SMEs, start-ups, multinational corporations and public institutions. With over 10 years of experience in the field, she has had the opportunity to work in exceptional institutions and legal firms such as the Spanish Higher Scientific Research Council (CSIC), Garrigues and AutoControl. In addition, she achieved a two-year grant to study Chinese and Business Chinese in the University of International Business and Economics of Beijing.
In 2016, Rebeca joined the International Project Management Office (OGPI) of the University of Alicante. As an IP expert, her main functions are drafting, coordinating and supervising the IP formative materials (namely Factsheets, Infographics, Case studies, FAQ, etc) and the IP policy reports, giving lectures and providing legal advice to European SMEs in IPRs matters related to Latin American countries.
